so, i'm officially a filmmaker now. a friend and i (hi robin i love you robin) created a short film for the independent horror society's 666 challenge (you have 66hrs and 6mins to create a horror short, max length 6 mins, they really love the theme) and it is going to be screened along with other entries in a real cinema!

nothing much else has happened in the recent months - i finished severance, i got a diagnosis of hEDS, i became a tamagotchi parent, i've been hacking away at artfight like i do every year. the tide rises, the tide falls. you know how it is.

i know i said it was getting spring-y here but the temperature plummets as soon as the sun goes down. mum says we might get snow this weekend, but it feels like she's been saying that every weekend since october. still, it could happen. we've had snow in april before.

i'm heading to oxfordshire for a few days and then on the 13th i have a hospital appointment where i'm hoping (although i know it's unlikely) that they'll actually be able to tell me what's wrong with me this time, instead of just making something up. i've been going around in circles trying to find a diagnosis beyond "leg hurts" for... six years, at least. and i feel like someone has to know.

my tamagotchi has been keeping me company during all this bed-rest. i have a tamagotchi uni with the monster carnival dlc and a mametchi that just loves to do backflips. like, guaranteed when you turn it on he's flipping away to his heart's content. good for him! i know i would if i could.

new episode of severance soon and if i don't see burt and irving i will riot.

it's finally fish doorbell season again! i'm glad the weather is getting more spring-like -- actually seeing the sunlight and feeling the warmth on my skin is doing wonders for my mental health. it's not even that i hate winter, it just gets so dreary here. anyway, there are snowdrops and daffodils and crocuses coming out where i live, and here's hoping they don't get taken out by a heavy frost if this ends up being a false spring.

nothing much has been going on with me since i last posted. i was put on iron pills because i was severely deficient so now i'm feeling more alive, i'm all caught up on severance s2, and i've pretty just much been resting and recovering from uni. i'll get there eventually, three years just took its toll in a big way.

i also figured out how to hack my 3DS! i downloaded a DS game from japan called 'beetle king' that i'm gonna have to review because it's just so bad. like, incomprehensibly bad. fascinatingly bad. dare i say, the ed wood of beetle catching video games.
